Fabulous Stripey Cat Brooch | Irish Hallmarked Sterling Silver

This striking and substantial brooch is sure to catch the eye and bring a smile to the face of any cat lover! The design is fabulous, combining a touch of luxury with a sense of humour. The brilliant shine of solid sterling silver is cleverly contrasted with oxidised accents to form the cat’s stripes.

To the rear is a secure roll-over clasp and a 925 standard mark. The tail bears a set of Irish import marks: the Dublin Assay Office ‘boujet’ mark, the .925 sterling import mark and a date letter (which appears to be ‘Q’ for 2001).

The brooch feels satisfyingly well-made and weighty in the hand, and at over 13 grams of solid silver it is a piece best suited to jackets and heavier clothing.

Condition Report: Superb condition. The silver has been cleaned and polished by us to a fine bright finish, but please remember that, as a soft metal, silver is always liable to show some slight marks and fine scratches from handling when inspected closely, even when brand new.
